Zachary Powers is a skilled attorney with wide-ranging legal experience that includes family law, alternative dispute resolution (mediation and arbitration), corporate law, contract drafting and negotiation, estate planning, workers’ compensation, appellate advocacy, juvenile law, and general civil litigation. Zach is admitted to practice law in both Tennessee and New York.
Zach received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee where he graduated magna cum laude and later received his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School of Union University where he graduated magna cum laude and was an Associate Editor for the Albany Law School Journal of Science & Technology. Upon graduating law school, Zach worked for a large international law firm based in New York prior to returning to Tennessee and joining the local bar. Since moving back home to Knoxville, Zach has handled cases across the state of Tennessee, successfully representing clients in small counties and major cities alike, from Kingsport to Memphis.
Zach is married to his beautiful wife, Ragan, and they have two children, Raylan and Ireland. In his free time, Zach enjoys playing golf, hiking, boating, and spending time with his family
